A beautiful collection is the starting point. A buildable specification identifies the exact product and the evidence needed for its intended use.

Identify the product
Record the manufacturer, collection, colour, product code, format, thickness, finish and edge. A collection name alone does not define a tile.

Define the application
Set out floor or wall use, interior or exterior conditions, traffic and any wet areas. Ask for product-specific performance information against the project criteria.

Request the evidence
Ask for the current datasheet, declaration of performance and relevant slip-resistance information. Request environmental documentation where the project requires it.

Confirm the assembly
Coordinate substrate, movement joints, adhesive, grout, trims and installation requirements with the appointed project team.
