04 / INTERNATIONAL PROCUREMENT
A clear destination. A clearer quotation.
An international tile enquiry needs more than a square-metre total. Bringing the supply details together early makes quotations easier to compare.
- 01
Describe the destination
Provide country, city, delivery postcode or port, access restrictions and whether delivery is to site, a warehouse or another receiving point.
- 02
Separate area from order quantity
State net area, proposed cutting allowance and any spares. Confirm box rounding, pallet quantities and batch requirements against the chosen SKU.
- 03
Define the programme
Give the target date and any delivery phases. Confirm production or stock availability in writing before committing the installation programme.
- 04
Clarify the commercial scope
Ask the quotation to identify shipping origin, agreed Incoterm and named place, freight scope, unloading, insurance and responsibility for customs, duties and taxes.
